The Destination….
I walked hand in hand with the Devil through the fires of Hell…discarded him at his own home and walked back out with a few inevitable burns that ultimately healed to scars…relatively “uncharred”…but just enough to have an incredulous story to share.
I couldn’t have done that without a lot of help…
An Angel holding my other hand guided me back to MY own home to some form of sanity.
Grateful for Their help on this part of my journey…
Heaven or Hell is not a Destination…
It’s our life experiences right here on Earth  that determines that.
Devils or Angels…we meet them both…multiple times over.
Death, war, disease, trauma, abuse, poverty, homelessness, illness, pain, betrayal, loneliness…etc are ALL a glimpse of Hell right here on Earth.
You won’t appreciate Heaven unless you have had a glimpse of Hell.
You can’t successfully explain this concept to an impoverished person for example…because he may never get a chance to see a comparison.
You will NEVER hear a poor person say…’money can’t buy you happiness’.
They didn’t get a chance to make that comparison.
Most people live their entire lives in some form of ‘battle’…inside themselves or outside of themselves.
So I am grateful to have had a chance to have a comparison.
After you throw your pearls to swine it’s hard to rifle through that shit trying to retrieve your beautiful pearls back again.
It’s not easy to be grateful…
***The act of being grateful is intentional***
It’s easy to take health, wealth, people, peace of mind etc…the things we already have in our possession for granted…until we don’t have it any longer.
We get glimpses of both Heaven or Hell EVERYDAY to remind us of how fickled life is.
Hell…is part of our Soul’s growth…I got my incredulous story and realized I could express my thoughts and feelings in words through my ALL inclusive trip to Hell.
Heaven…we get to create our own slices of Heaven if we choose to.
For me…Peace of mind is the ultimate slice of Heaven…followed closely by my toes in the sand on some beach šŸ˜‰šŸ«¶
Peace of mind mixed with some sand…
It’s The Destination…
