Daniel a 23 year old entertainer with a mouth full of braces recognizes me as Pola and remembers I love to dance…from my last trip here.
Fabiola a server also recognizes me and says to me…’welcome home’…and remembers I love mimosas and tea…with 2 Lipton tea bags.
I feel at home…I do…Fabiola made me feel at home.
How special it that!
I walk on the beach and remember the many winters we spent here…
I remember I spread Robbie’s ashes here last October.
I learned from his very short presence here on earth to live every day like it’s your last…because NOTHING lasts.
I feel nostalgic and emotional…but grateful to be here in God’s Paradise…how special is that!
I meet Jane and Glen a wonderful Indian couple from Holland…and they make me feel at home…in my heart and soul.
They have been together for 37 years and know each other so well and so completely…they are so gentle and caring to each other…they fulfill each other’s needs…they show me what is possible…how special is that!
Soul mates play a special role in our lives…some good…some not so good…some down right ugly…whether it be momentarily or life long…but there’s always a purpose.
Even the abusive interaction which was just a brief moment of time in the realm of my life changed my life forever by teaching me to pay attention to my intuition…what I will not tolerate in my life…and how to set proper boundaries to protect myself from people like that…how special is that!
They ALL serve a purpose.
The last 8 years have been made possibly bearable by some wonderful soul mate strangers.
Blessed and grateful for those strangers in my life who make me feel at home.
They mate with my very Soul…
They make me feel at home in my soul…
How special is that!
