Our scars are a reminder of our healed wounds…Our hard earned lessons.
The tougher the lesson the deeper the wound the longer it took for the scar to form.
I don’t want to forget those lessons.
I wear them like a badge of honor to remind myself of how far I’ve come.
Our heart has a different memory capacity as compared to our mind.
The hearts perspective and the minds perspective are both very different…and mostly contradictory.
What my mind can find as totally logical…my heart can still cry over.
You need to use your logical mind to find a new perspective to heal your wound…not your heart.
It is very hard to separate the 2…but it is possible and very necessary to help you heal your wound.
You can’t appreciate the good if you don’t have a contrasting bad…our scars are a reminder of just that.
Cherish them.
