The power of ONE…is a real thing.
My point of view…
May not be yours and that’s ok too.
Do not underestimate the power of traveling alone.
I’ve done it for the last 4 ish years except for a couple of instances.
Not by choice…originally.
Not for the faint of heart…either.
Would I rather travel with a partner…sure.
I have always been a brave person but this is on a WHOLE different level.
It has been the most rewarding experience for me.
May be not so for others.
I’ve had a lot of forced practice…State side.
You have to be prepared to be ‘alone’…some people are accommodating and kind…but its not common place specially in a resort environment where EVERYONE is a couple or in a family…no one wants to hang with a single woman unless you are very secure in your relationship.
No men travel by themselves…and most women travel in packs.
Luckily I can read people well for the most part and I don’t infringe on them unless they are welcoming.
I’ve had mostly good experiences so I consider myself lucky.
Plus I’ve found a lot of good photographers 📸 😉🫶😁
